Training for Parents & Educators on IDEA Regulations

The Illinois State Board of Education is sponsoring these conferences in partnership with the Illinois Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs). Participants will learn about new IDEA provisions regarding IEPs, discipline, assessment, how IDEA and No Child Left Behind work together, and how parents and schools can work together to ensure appropriate services for students with disabilities.

The first three conferences were held this week, and the last two conferences will be held on Saturday, June 2 in Chicago and Evanston. Further information, including a registration form, for each of the June 2 conferences is available on the ISBE website as follows:
